Infinix Energy states that it was founded in 2019 after earlier work under Solar365. Its published history begins with residential solar and grows into commercial and SMME work, large off-grid systems, smart monitoring and utility-scale engineering.

The business now serves commercial, industrial, agricultural, residential, retail and utility contexts with renewable energy design, EPC, battery storage, monitoring and support.
